A Message From Our Industry Chair
From Bob Wilbur, Chairman of the GRPCC Board of Directors:
Well, 2019 has come and gone, and it looks like the needs of our community have not changed. The necessity to reach and target consumers in a growth economy with the services of USPS is still in demand. Despite negative news cycles, the US Postal Service is still here and business marches on. If your company or organization has anything to do with mailing, that’s important. Why? Because the Postal Service is still here contrary to some opinions, is likely to be here for some time. In 2020, we have a vision to connect businesses with neighborhoods better than ever before.
That’s where the PCC comes in, Formed as an organization over 50 years ago, our purpose is to help inform and education the mailing public about anything postal, from designing and addressing a mail piece, to rate changes and ways to save the money that your business is working so hard for.
Here in Rochester, the PCC executive board is made up of people from local industries and representatives from the postal service. We put together a schedule of events meant to assist you, the people who have to deal with these things every day. The best way to navigate through the sometimes confusing rules and regulations. Take a look at the calendar of upcoming seminars and webinars. It can also be found on our website. These programs are for you, please take advantage of them.
Contact one of us at any time if there is a program or update that you would like to have discussed. We would be happy to get you an answer, possibly even set up a seminar.
I look forward to working together with you on the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead.
